Well, in my day-to-day “Annual Alphabetic CD Crawl,” I’ve hit that long stretch that is my Time Life Sounds of the Eighties series.  Here’s hoping that this week’s Friday Random Ten*–which I will be re-posting song by song (after the initial six-song clump from the walk to work)–draws from other decades of my collection.

Seen Live: Prince, the Musicology Tour.  Gosh, that was a fun show, even from the middle reaches of Wachovia Center seating. 

Hometown Heros: MSB, who I discovered through my older sister when we lived in Ohio.  I’m not sure how many times she and her friends saw the band at the Blossom Music Center.  I, alas, was too young.

Statistical Anomaly: “Sieg Heil to the President Gas-man…”

Dodging the 80’s Bullet: To me recollection, only Michael Stanley’s album stems from that decade, and he wasn’t ever honored by inclusion in the Time-Life series….
