Running Off To Bed
Sunday, July 31st, 2005Her Pupness is having another spot of diarrhea (sp?), only this time with a whole lot of pukey making the experience of parenting that much more lovely.
Matt’s got a business trip tomorrow noon till tuesday evening, and I have class tomorrow after work. Which suggests there’s no way to keep an eye on her tomorrow without one of us doing major u[heaval to the schedule. Normally I’d volunteer myself, since I’m getting the class material well, and I could get tomorrow’s content from the reading I did today.
But then there’s all that group project stuff, and I seriously fear what will happen if that bunch is on their own.
And behind all my kvetching is alarger worry. It hasn’t been all that long since HP’s prior episode with this all. Are these recurent episodes the start of some chronic condition that’s gong to plague her for her remaining time on this earth? 13 years is Awfully Aged for a spaniel to be.
Anyhow, I need to set all that worry aside and go to bed. We’re watching her in shifts: I’ll get a few hours’ sleep while Matt stays up late, then he’ll come wake me at 1 or 2 or so for the second shift.
