Turning Over
Tuesday, April 26th, 2005Well, my own wee site counter odometer has recently turned over from 4,999 to 5,000. (Actually 5,006, when I last looked.)
I know it’s still an incredibly low volume of blog-reading traffic compared to those bloggers more charming and prolific than I. And I’m not saying that out of misplaced envy or some other force like that. I’m quite happy with my little corner of the blogosphere and my 20ish looks per day. What I’m struggling to find the words to voice is how I want to acknowledge that my little odometer turn is indeed a smallish accomplishment in the scheme of the blogosphere, but it’s still an accomplishment that’s big to me, and it’s one that pleases me.
